I have been running a private counselling practice for many years, offering both open-ended and short-term therapy and receiving referrals from the Association of Independent Psychotherapists, NHS surgeries, Employee Assistance Programmes and local community sources. I currently work part-time as Consultant Adult Psychotherapist for The Brief Intervention Crisis Service at Northwick Park Hospital in Harrow, London.

I originally worked in Mental Health, as a Mental Health Development Officer, facilitating therapeutic groups and developing a Befriending Scheme for communities in North East London.

In recent years I took up post as Co-ordinator of Counselling for one of the WPF centres.

Following my counselling training with the Herts and Beds Pastoral Foundation (affiliated to the Westminster Pastoral Foundation),
I trained as an analytical psychotherapist with The Association of
Independent Psychotherapists in London.

Prior to this I taught English as a foreign / second language.

I adhere to the Code of Ethics of the Association of Independent Psychotherapists (AIP).

I have both Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.

I am an Accredited Member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).

I am also a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
